By building strong global partnerships and fostering collaboration across disciplinary boundaries, we extend the global reach and impacts of York’s teaching and research for global public good.
Our goal is to ensure that all York staff and students, regardless of background, nationality or geographic location, gain diverse experiences as global citizens.
We pursue transformative research partnerships and learning opportunities, including at our campuses in Mumbai and Thessaloniki, and others that will follow.
This global presence is strengthened by collaborative partnerships with universities, industry and civil society organisations around the world.

WORLDWIDE ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIPS
Expansion of Transnational Education and Research opportunities through new Joint Education Institutes (JEI) with leading Chinese universities and through large-scale articulation and progression agreements with universities worldwide.

Extend accredited University of Sanctuary initiatives into a whole-systems approach reflecting our deep, institutional commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive and empowering environment for forced migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
