60TH ANNIVERSARY OF ROSES

2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the Roses sports competition, right here on our home soil in York! Sports societies will be preparing by raising funds for their clubs in Challenge Week in March.

THE GREAT YORK WALK

Fancy a challenge? Why not take on the Great York Walk in summer 2025! Walking 25 miles around the city of York in one day, you'll help raise money for desperately needed mental health research at York.

FESTIVAL OF IDEAS

In the summer we'll be hosting our annual Festival of Ideas, where you can access 200 mostly free events designed to educate, entertain and inspire.
